On the last day of term the whole school had the opportunity to dress up in a book character. Some of our class took on the challenge including all the teachers. We had a whole school parade in the morning where we got to see all the amazing costumes people were wearing. One person from each class won a prize from the judges Ms O'Connor and Mr Ohia. Caleb P won our prize and he was a great looking pirate. Mr Dobbin aka Dracula read a book to Room 4 and we had B2 aka Mrs Pedley read us a book at read and feed time. I know some of us can't wait for another dress up day to become a different character for the day at school.

Term 1 Camp!
What an amazing time we had on camp. Highland Home near Ashhurst was a great place to stay, play and relax. We had a group of fantastic adults who helped us with our activities and not to mention our jobs and duties too. Activities included BMX riding, air rifles, team building challenges, caving, river exploring, swimming at the Lido in Palmerston North, board games and having lots of fun playing with our classmates on the trampolines and with the ball games. During the activities we had to take responsible risks, communicate clearly with others, persist, manage impulsivity and most of all enjoy ourselves and have fun! We can't wait until our November camp!
