Today we went zip lining over and through the rainforest. It was so much fun. The highest platform was 50m and the longest line was 300m.

Today's Adventures
Today we went to a market. It was huge over 8000 stalls and they are so tiny and crammed together. It was horrible and soooo hot! There were so many people, no personal space at this market! We didn't really know where to being we walked around and brought a few things but after a couple of hours we were over the heat and people and wanted to go back to our air conditioned hotel. In the afternoon we went for more shopping and it was just the same. There are so many people in Bangkok, 12 million so there is no escaping. After a long day went relaxed and went to the movies to see Harry Potter. Luckily is was in English not Thai.

Elephant Ride
Well today was amazing, we went on a tour and the highlight was going on an elephant ride. Halfway round the track the man gave me a go to guide the elephant. I sat by the elephants head and mum stayed in the seat. It was fantastic. We went down a steep hill. I thought I was going to fall off, we both held on very very tight. The elephant then took us into the water. As you can imagine we got wet! I don't think mum trusted my driving skills. It was so much fun. The guide took lots of great photos. Check them out.

Hello from Thailand
Well after a long flight we arrived! It took 12 hours on the plane. As you can imagine I watched lots of movies. We got to our hotel at 3am NZ time, but it was only 10pm in Thailand. Today we went for a tour around the city and we went to lots of Temples. We didn't know but this weekend is a long weekend. It's Buddhist day tomorrow so it's very busy especially the Temples. At night we went to a traditional Thai dinner and dance. Everything is just so different here. Check out the photos below and tell me what you think.

Well I didn't get to see the real thing but all I can say is I hope the teachers entry was better than their dress rehearsal!

Photography Winner
Well it was a close one this week for Petersen. It came down to DJ, David and Campbell's photo.
Here is what Mr Petersen said:
I decided that Campbell’s one is the winner – good close-up – good light – great detail and colour – very pretty and it makes you marvel in awe and wonder at the beauty of nature.

Our Boys Night Out
Tonight was our Boys Night Out. Everyone from Room 15 wrote a letter to someone inviting them to our Boys Night Out. They showed them around our class and all the things they have been learning. Some even taught their parents how to play a cool new maths games. After spending time in the class we went over to the hall to have pizzas for dinner. The boys chose the flavours. I think they did a great job! Next all the adults got together and talked about the class and what they thought! I think it was a great night and loved seeing all the parents. I would love to do it again. Maybe we could have a BBQ in Term 4. What do you think?

Today after lunch time the whole school went to the hall. When we got inside the hall we sat down and we listened to Consible Tanya. She spoke about reading and what she loved about reading. After that she called out the room numbers and people went up and grabed the box filled of books. The person from our class was Darian. We love our books.
