LED Text Scroller

We did it boys and before Room 12 too :) Well done.

Funny Monsters

In Term 2 we learnt all about reports. We know that reports are factual information about a topic. It has a classification, description and conclusion. Mrs Larsen gave us a fun activity to do. We had to draw a funny monster. Next we had to write a report about it. Some look scary and some look very friendly. They are all very different.

Amazing active America

At the very start of our fantastic adventure when we sprinted to Notes Berry Farm I realised my Amazing Active America's Adventure had begun. Before you new it, I was tossed and turned and thrown about a5 the speed of 150 kilometers an hour on an exciting ride. After that we bolted off. We hopped on the Pereles Plunge going up about 50 metres then dropping straight down and splashing in water. What a great time!

Running at the Gonville Domain

After lunch on Wednesdays the whole senior team goes to the Gonville Domain to practise running for the cross country. It is very hard but we get through it and it was really fun. I can not wait for the cross country. It will be a lot of fun and a lot harder.

Assembly Item

On the first Friday of this term Room 14 had item. It was about fairy tales. I was Little Red the main character. Jahzia was Young Wolf. Tekaha was the teacher Mr Wolf. Dean, Trayven and Treyzhan were the three blind mice. Joshua was the woodcutter. Kobi and Matthew were UGLY STEP SISTERS. Dakota was Inspector Frank and the rest of the class were kids. I Thought our play was the best play this year. I liked the bit when Inspector Frank came in and wolf got scared.

Duffy Books

Last week we were given our second lot of Duffy books. After assembly Mrs Larsen handed the books out and we got to read them. We all love our new books.

Clip From Kobi

This is the You Tube clip Kobi told us to check out. I think its great. Maybe the boys can steal some dance moves for the next show case of talent at school.

Jonathan's Adventure

Jonathan has been really lucky to go overseas for the school holidays. He is visiting lots of exciting countries, seeing some amazing buildings like castles, cathedrals and the Eiffel Tower and by the sounds of it eating lots of yummy chocolate. I love chocolate too. I hope Jonathan remembers that :) He gave us a link to check out some photos of the Kapa Haka his family is doing while overseas. What do you think!

Starry Night

A while ago we looked closely at Vicent Van Gogh's Starry Night. We decided to use pastels to create our own. Don't they look great!

Our Lucky Duffy Book Winners

Teachers have talent??

Who knew, the teachers at Carlton School can dance! They did a surprise item in the School's Show Case of Talent. They all cam out dressed as mechanics and dance to Grease Lightening. Ms Wyatt was so lucky she got a new car! We haven't seen her driving it around town yet though.

Show Case of Talent

Carlton School children were given the opportunity to enter the school's Show Case of Talent. Lots of people entered and we had a huge range of talent. Check out the photos.

4 boys in Room 14 worked really hard to create a dance for the Show Case of Talent. Below is a video of what they did.
